Data protection at a glance

The following notes give an overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

This website does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. No contact forms, no map services and no fonts are loaded from third-party servers. Your decision in the cookie dialog is stored only locally in your browser.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Kockmann GmbH
Weinerpark 17
48607 Ochtrup
Germany
Phone: 02553 / 93 71 0
E-mail: info@kockmann-gmbh.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Further details can be found in the legal notice.

General information

Legal bases

We process personal data only where a legal basis permits it. Depending on the operation, this is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and for access to your device additionally Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) or our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The applicable legal basis is stated for each processing operation below.

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose of the processing no longer applies. If you make a justified request for erasure or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it, such as retention periods under commercial or tax law of six (Section 257 HGB) or ten years (Section 147 AO).

Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only pass on personal data if this is necessary to fulfil the purpose, if you have consented or if we are legally obliged to do so. Service providers acting on our behalf (for example our hosting provider) are bound by data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser starting with “https://” and showing a padlock symbol. Data you transmit to us cannot then be read by third parties.

Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details given above is sufficient.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

In the event of infringements of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by the following provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Inhaber René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Deutschland. When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files which your browser transmits:

  • browser type and version,
  • operating system used,
  • referrer URL,
  • host name of the accessing computer,
  • time of the server request,
  • IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure provision of the website. Server log files are deleted after seven days at the latest unless they are required to investigate a security incident. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. On your first visit, a dialog appears in which you decide how services are handled. We store your decision exclusively in your browser's local storage (entry “liv-consent”) so that the dialog does not appear again on every page view. This storage is technically necessary and is based on Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No data is transmitted to us or to third parties in the process.

You can change or reset your selection at any time via the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom left. Deleting the website data in your browser also removes the entry.

Contact by e-mail or telephone

This website contains no contact forms. If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it (for example name, contact details, content of the enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose of storage no longer applies, for example after your request has been dealt with. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Job applications

You can apply for our vacancies by e-mail to personal@kockmann-gmbh.de. We process the personal data transmitted with your application (for example contact and communication data, application documents, notes from interviews) insofar as this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis is Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, if you have given consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Within our company, only the persons involved in processing your application have access to your data.

Please note that unencrypted e-mails could be read by third parties in transit. If in doubt, send us particularly sensitive documents by post.

If your application is successful, we continue to store the submitted data for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship. Otherwise, we delete your application documents no later than three months after completion of the application procedure, unless legitimate interests on our part prevent deletion, such as the assertion or defence of claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act. Longer storage takes place only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
